At 3 pm on the first day of Chinese New Year, the conference room on the first floor of the Red Cross Society of Zhejiang Province was ablaze in the red glow of festive lanterns to ring in a major donation ceremony was being held. The novel coronavirus epidemic was continuing to spread, and some enterprises had chosen to express their support for the affected areas in various ways through the Red Cross. The management of the board of directors of Zhejiang Medicine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Medicine") paid close attention to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, and were deeply concerned about the safety of the persons and medical staff working in the front line. According to the instructions of Chairman Li Chunbo, the company donated 2 million yuan worth of antiviral drugs, specifically nemonoxacin malate capsules (trade name 「Taijiexin」, a class 1.1 new drug), and donated 1 million yuan to infected areas in Hubei and Zhejiang through the Red Cross Society of Zhejiang Province.

The company, together with the Zhejiang Provincial Charity Federation and the Zhejiang Provincial Anti-Cancer Association, jointly organized a publicity campaign to support the anti-cancer health "caravan" in Zhejiang Province, and took the lead in donating to the "Five Water Treatment" project in Xinchang County.

During this period, the company has also promoted the development of education through various methods, such as donating funds for scholarships and establishing scholarships, and has invested more than 20 million yuan in this field over recent years. These funds were invested to cultivate talented individuals in universities and research institutes including China Pharmaceutical University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry for the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan".

Zhejiang Medicine and its affiliated enterprises donated 5.1 million yuan to areas stricken by the Yushu earthquake-stricken as well as 2 million yuan to the Zhejiang Foundation for Disabled Persons to support China’s 8th National Games for Persons with Disabilities.

In response to the May 12 Wenchuan Earthquake, Zhejiang Medicine donated 2.26 million yuan in medicine and 1.74 million yuan in cash to the disaster area.

During the SARS outbreak, Zhejiang Medicine donated more than 4.3 million yuan in medicines and goods, and received commendations from leaders of the Ministry of Health, the State Drug Administration, the State Economic and Trade Commission, and leaders of relevant national departments, provinces, and municipalities such as Beijing, Guangdong, Shanxi, Shandong, Guangxi, Sichuan, and Zhejiang Provinces.
